Limited product warranty
Era Energy Tech makes every effort to assure that it’s products meet high quality and durability standards and warrants the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use, application and installation.
Warranty conditions apply for six (06) months from the date of sale to the original buyer / user. Should the product become inoperable due to a defect in workmanship or material during the six (06) month period of this warranty, Era Energy Tech will at its discretion repair, replace the component or refund the purchase price of the product. This warranty shall only apply to the original buyer / user of the product. PLEASE NOTE: Electronic test / measuring equipment is excluded from any warranty / guarantee conditions and therefore carry no warranty / guarantee. All equipment is thoroughly tested and evaluated before dispatch to the buyer.
Conditions voiding the warranty:
If in Era Energy Tech’s sole judgment a component has been subject to misuse, neglect or accident or has been damaged through abuse, alteration, improper installation or application or negligence in use, handling or storage; or repaired by anyone other than Era Energy Tech this warranty will not be applicable. The warranty does not include any transportation costs for return of products or for reshipment of any repaired or replaced components or costs associated with removal, installation or re-installation of the products.
Limitations of the warranty:
Damage to persons, property or any other loss or injury resulting from a defect in the components or from improper installation or use shall not be the responsibility of Era Energy Tech and Era Energy Tech will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any incidental or consequential damage. Any warranties including those of merchantability, fitness or suitability for a particular purpose which may be implied by law are limited in duration to six (06) months after date of sale to the original buyer / user.
This warranty is the maximum extent of Era Energy Tech’s liability and excludes any or all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, and is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Warranty Claim Procedure:
To claim under this warranty the product or part must be returned to Era Energy Tech at the claimant’s expense. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the product. Once inspected / tested and the defect has been verified, Era Energy Tech will act in terms of this limited warranty as set out above.
Severability:
Should a particular part of the above terms and conditions be held invalid, void or unenforceable due to any national or international legislation, it shall not affect other parts of the remaining terms and conditions set out in this Warranty.
